AIR21 welcomes Miami Heat Head Coach Fil-Am Erik Spoelstra

 AIR21, your total logistics solutions provider, brings NBA Miami Heat Head Coach Erik Spoelstra and coaching staff to the AIR21 main office in Parañaque City to empower employees for better health and wellness on 2 August 2011.
Coach Erik Spoelstra was delighted to see the AIR21 basketball team and workforce already up and energized very early in the morning. He expressed that he ‘keeps good energy all day long’.
“Exercise and eating right are paramount in managing the stress”, says Coach Erik. Together with Coach Jama Mahlalela and the rest of the coaching staff, they led the entire Lina Group team in an engaging warm up exercise which consisted of basketball drills such as the high jump, the spin, and jab step that prepared them for a shoot out challenge.
 Along the activity is signing up for the NBA Fit Pledge that enjoins the target 10,000 Filipinos who will commit to live a healthier lifestyle through proper diet, regular exercise, and adequate sleep.
On Sunday, August 7, AIR21 presents the NBA Fit Run at the Bonifacio Global City where a total of 6000 runners are expected to join.
The NBA Fit Philippines second leg is part of Coach Erik Spoelstra’s responsibility to give back to the community involving his heritage. Coach Spo, as he is fondly called, is a 40-year old Fil-Am Coach and is the first Asian American who serves as one of the NBA head coaches. His Filipino root is traced from San Pablo, Laguna.
